The School Minibus Company’s Andy has just completed his 10th Marathon within 12 months. This has to be one of the hardest marathons to date, known as an “Ultra Marathon”.
With the motivational speech given by the race directors at the beginning of the race “the last 10 miles back is all open countryside AND you’ll be running into a strong headwind – enjoy!!”, Andy was all set to go (minus his hairband which he forgot).
Even with having to face head on wind, and battling to keep the hair out of his face, Andy completed his 10th Marathon in an impressive time of just under 5 hours.
This leaves a further two marathons for Andy to complete his 12 marathons in 12 months.
Andy is completing the impressive feat in aid of The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the chosen charity of the School Minibus Company. On behalf of everyone at the School Minibus Company, we would like to congratulate Andy on an impressive achievement.
