On one of the hottest days’ of the year the School Minibus Company’s Andy completed his 5th marathon (out of 12) to raise money for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH).
This time it was around the fields and lanes of Gloucester, with temperatures of 22 degrees at the start, the day got just hotter and hotter, making it one of the toughest runs he has ever taken part in “I’ve never seen so many runners walking the course”. Andy managed to cross the line in a very respectable time of 3 hours and 55 mins, with many runners walking the course. Fortunately Andy didn’t need the services of the chaps behind him in the photo!
On behalf of all at the School Minibus Company, we would like to wish Andy a big congratulations. Stay tuned for more updates following Andy’s impressive fundraising efforts for the RNOH.
