The School Minibus Company’s Andy is a third of the way through his tough challenge of completing 12 marathons in 12 months. This past week saw Andy complete his fourth marathon – The Littledown Marathon on the outskirts of Bournemouth.
Unlike the previous marathons Andy has run this was completely different. The Littledown Marathon consisted of running 26 times around a one mile loop of the park at Littledown. Andy commented “this was mentally challenging, but strangely enjoyable (I’m still not sure why, but it was). I completed this in 3 hours and 44 mins, and finished 20th – so go me!!”
Andy is running in support for The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, unlike other hospitals, the RNOH cares for its patients for life. Its youngest patients are less than a year old. Its oldest patients are over 100.
Stay tuned for continued updates on Andy’s achievements.
