In May the School Minibus Company hosted an afternoon with the lovely Dawn Gracie in aid of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. The event took place at the Dome in Worthing and was a roaring success with over 70 people in attendance, including the local Town Cryer and residents of a local nursing home, all of whom were entertained with Dawn’s glamorous vintage style singing with music from the 50’s & 60’s.
The School Minibus Company’s Mel and Hannah, got into the “vintage” spirit and added additional glam to the event by dressing in their finest retro outfits. Throughout guests were treated to tea and cake, the afternoon was topped off with a fantastic raffle, with some great gifts, generously donated by our customers and suppliers.
The whole event raised in excess of £500. This event is just one of a host of fundraising activities the School Minibus Company are getting involved with this year. Our very own Andy Saych is running 12 marathons in 12 months, and we have a host of other fundraising events to help raise funds for a worthwhile cause.
